Hi, I'm Nicole Arroyo, founder of The Commonwealth Schoolhouse. I'm a mother of two with a passion for creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for young children. My journey began at a wonderful preschool in Pinole, California, where I discovered my love for early childhood education.

When the pandemic began, I was given an incredible opportunity to open my own private schoolhouse. With the trust of six amazing families, I had the privilege of guiding their children’s learning and developing my own enrichment programs—an experience that shaped everything I do today.

Since then, I’ve built a beautiful indoor/outdoor learning space in my home and have been proudly welcoming families into a nurturing, play-based environment. My vision has always been to create and share the kind of community I dreamed of for my own family—and that vision continues to grow every day.
